                    Cathy Earl writes: Whilst sorting
                        through some of my late aunt’s possessions (Rene
                        Foster, born 11/1910) I discovered a letter she
                        wrote from Burrage Grove Girls’ School in May
                        1918 to her father who was at the front in
                        France. I also have one of those WW1 cards
                        [decorated and embroidered] that she received in
                        response - see photos below.
